Breaking the stranglehold of a paedophile - Tenacity overcomes Timidity

Stranglehold of a paedophile – TENACITY overcomes TIMIDITY

The hold is shockingly domineering and strong,
therefore it is imperative to crush this power.

These twisted, cruel monsters manipulate young children, moulding and forcing the child to meet their depraved demands.

The Greatest Love of All

I have created a video montage to visually portray some of the thoughts and feelings that run amok in a child victim. I find that music is a terrific medium through which to convey emotions. Consequently, I have set the video to the most noteworthy song, ‘The Greatest Love of All‘. This song, written by composers Michael Masser (music) and Linda Creed (lyrics), was originally recorded in 1977 by one of my most best-loved musicians, singer and guitarist George Benson. Written and recorded to be the main theme of the 1977 film ‘The Greatest‘, it was a bio-pic of the boxer Muhammad Ali.  Above all, my personal favourite has always been the George Benson version, even though the song later became a great hit when Whitney Houston covered it.

The lyrics resonate deeply with the feelings that need to be conquered after abuse. The stranglehold of a paedophile CAN be broken by learning to love oneself  and it is definitely the greatest love of all, enabling one to overcome many obstacles!

If any of my readers have been abused I encourage you to use music as a healing tool. In my opinion, I find it certainly soothes one’s soul, ultimately giving hugely beneficial assistance. Arguably, in learning how to focus on what is good, pure and healing, rather than concentrating one’s thoughts on anger and negativity, this puts you in a much better place.

The paedophile is a monster needing to be destroyed

Regrettably, when all things are considered, it takes a great many years before the assaulted child can open up and tell others what happened. Sometimes they never do. Multitudes of feelings run riot inside the innocent child’s head, causing utter confusion and turmoil in their growing years. Emotions range from shame, disgust, embarrassment, guilt, fear, perplexity and many more, to feelings of worthlessness, despair and frequently suicidal tendencies. These children need the warmth and care of love and protection. Ultimately, on most occasions the youngster battles it all alone, far too afraid and upset to confide in those close to them. This is the psychological trap the paedophile is able to create, and in most instances the monster is very skilled and knows exactly what to do to manipulate his prey.

Lyrics:

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody is searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfil my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone’s shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can’t take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be

And if by chance, that special place
That you’ve been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love
