I made it to the Long List for the Chanticleer International Book Awards
I am thrilled and honoured to have made it to the Long List for the Chanticleer International Book Awards!
The Journey Book Awards is a genre division of Chanticleer International Book Awards and Novel Competitions (CIBAs).
My memoir TRANSCENDING TO POWER – the Freya Files : A Survivor’s Memoir Uncovering the Aftermath of Child Sexual-Abuse is in the running for the JOURNEY Division of the International Chanticleer International Book Awards, having made it to the Long List, and am now in competition for 2023 Journey Short List!
“The JOURNEY Awards recognises emerging new talent and outstanding works in the genre of Overcoming Adversity in Narrative Non-Fiction and Memoir.”
They “are looking for the best books featuring true stories about adventures, life events, unique experiences, travel, personal journeys, global enlightenment, and more.”
I am honoured for my book to advance this far!

Does this mean you have actually been accepted by a publisher and that your book has been published? Or is it an “award” for a manuscript seeking a publisher – in other words, a marketing ploy by Chanticleer?
